Ideal place for exploring Grass Valley. Booked a queen room with a heating system, a coffee machine and a work desk...

We stay here often and have always enjoyed our visits. Great location near restaurants and shopping.
-
Clean room, comfortable bed, helpful staff, happy hour, and fresh cookies!
Lumpy pillows.
-
The room itself was adequate. The bathroom requires updates, especially the shower area and the shower head. Check the drain hole in sink.
-
Staff were very friendly. We enjoyed chatting with the reception staff. Room was superb, comfortable, clean and well equipped.
-
The staff were friendly, helpful and the hotel was welcoming .
-
The fact I had to walk to the lobby to retrieve extra pillows for a medical condition at 1:30 in the morning in my pajamas. They didn't have any staff which could deliver.
-
The evening staff were very friendly.
The walls are paper thin, there was a wedding party in the suite next to me..started at 7 AM..calked the front desk they said they would call them. Apparently to no avail. The floor/rug wasn't vacuumed well. The bed skirts weren't tucked in right, sloppy not ironed...for the price....not all that great.

The hotel is right in the downtown area where all shops and restaurants are. Couldn't be more convenient. We had a noisy group staying above our room on the second nght, so my son asked if he could have a different room (at midnight). The staff nicely arranged for another room for him to sleep in at no extra charge.
Breakfast was just ok, nothing spec

Enjoyed the quiet room.
The male employee at the front desk was rude and treated me and my family as if we were an inconvenience to him. However, the female employee who greeted us for our stay, the day prior, was very welcoming and friendly.

It's probably the best thing in the area.

Selection of food
At 9:00, many things were missing, e.g. Decaf coffee, scrambled eggs and bacon.
